Vietnam

Steve McCurry

The percentage of Vietnam’s population infected with HIV is still low, at less than 1 percent. Most Vietnamese living with HIV became infected through contaminated needles while injecting drugs, and within this group, the rate of infection is radically higher. Because heroin and other drugs are cheap and casual use is common, HIV infection through drug use affects a larger part of the population in Vietnam than in many other countries.

I beleive it shows alot of the life of these people, the idea of adding their voices has a very powerful impact with the stunning photos of Steve Mccurry, the small videos didn't add much though. Back to the content, i know that by just showing the suffer of these people, you are helping by making others to avoid it, but i think that most of those people won't see your work, they need some sort of awarness, especially in poor areas and very low income, people may have alot of problems that may lead to the infection, you also should focus on the reasons more, like you said about the cheap drugs, but i think that there are more reasons deep down, if your project can show them, we may see less people with that kind of suffer. Thanks so much, i really really appreciate the work done here Best Wishes
